After nine months, and less than four weeks left
in the 2014-2015 tour,
the children's passion for worship hasn't faded one bit...
in fact it's expanded!
"Go Light Your World!"

Sequoia National Park

Teyba inside a sequoia tree!
Auntie Courtney and Kima!
We were amazed with what we learned...
You would think that a 350-foot-tall tree
would need deep roots, but that's not the case at all
with these Sequoia's.
Redwood tree roots are very shallow, often only five or six
feet deep. But they make up for it in width, sometimes
extending up to 100 feet from the trunk.
They thrive in thick groves,
where the roots intertwine and even fuse together.
This gives them tremendous strength
again the forces of nature,
like high winds and raging floods.
 "Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
 If either of them falls down,
    one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
    and has no one to help them up.
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
    But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered,
    two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Our visit to Hume Lake Christian Camps
(Hume, CA)
Kings Canyon National Park
What a moment to remember...
Everyone sitting on the edge of one of the deepest
canyons in the world, signing a song that declares
who Jesus is, who we are in Him, and why life matters.
"You are Abba, Father, we are your sons
and daughters. Oh how you love us!"
Lyrics by Ed Cash and Cody Norris

Our bus had quite the week! A number of break-downs
along the side of the road.
However, this gave the team a great opportunity to just
slow down and appreciate God's blessings...
beautiful landscaping, quality time with the children,
and a renewed and steadfast spirit for the Lord.
 "Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness;
Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain
and hill be made low;
And let the rough ground become a plain,
And the rugged terrain a broad valley;
Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed,
And all flesh will see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.'"
Isaiah 40:3-5
